“Speak Out” is the driving force of the Sydney Mad Pride Youth Event. The event is in response to the need to provide young people with a safe place and creative platform where they can celebrate their culture, their talents and their lived experiences – free from judgment and prejudice. “Speak Out” feels that the concept of Mad Pride encapsulates these values and beliefs and promotes a sense of normality, celebration and community support.
