Along with the great range of free activities at this years MAD PRIDE YOUTH EVENT – there is also some great “retail therapy” opportunities on Friday night. Young people are selling some of their awesome creations in the Mad Pride Trash and Treasure Market.
One such creative young person is Lewis Ihnatko – whose prints and t-shirts will be available for sale on the night (example of his t-shirt designs are pictured to the left). Other young people have also registered to sell original jewelery, vintage and hand-made clothes along with arts and crafts. So bring some dollars with you, buy yourself something unique (or purchase a present for someone else) and support a young person giving it a go!
Young people can still register to operate a Trash and Treasure Market Stall at Mad Pride – click here.
And there will also be some official merchandise this year too. Snap up a great MAD PRIDE YOUTH EVENT hoodie or t-shirt or purchase the 2010 Mad Pride Talent Quest CD with great tracks written by last years contestants. Have a listen to one of the tracks here. Also – all the artwork in the Art Exhibition are for sale too… with proceeds going directly to the young artist. So bring some cash and snap up a bargain at this years MAD PRIDE YOUTH EVENT.
