Weave Youth Family Community are proud to announce Ada Nicodemou and Rhys Nicholson as this year’s Mad Pride Youth Event hosts.

Ada Nicodemou is best known for her role as Leah Patterson-Baker in the soap opera Home and Away. Ada Nicodemou began her acting career in 1994, where she played the role of Katerina in Heartbreak High. Since 2000, she has played the role of Leah Patterson-Baker in Home and Away. In late 2005 Ada was a contestant and winner along with dance partner Aric Yegudkin on Season 3 of Dancing with the Stars.

Rhys Nicholson is an openly gay, young, up-and-coming comedian living in Sydney. He was a finalist of the Raw Comedy Award in 2009 and performed at the Sydney Comedy Festival in 2010. He has also been a contributor to InZine magazine. In 2008 he contributed an artwork piece about depression and self-harm which highlighted his often controversial, audacious style.
